About THE ARTIST
Ron Blunt is an award-winning photographer capturing the World’s Best Architecture & Design.
Ron grew up outside London with camera in-hand, frequently shooting buildings & landscapes. As a teenager, he mastered the nuances of film photography + hand retouching, before studying with celebrated British photographer, Martin Parr, CBE — an unlikely mentor who inspired bold, original images.
Ron struck out on his own, working in London & the USA. He got an auspicious start, landing an Architectural Digest cover…and 5-Star Luxury Hotel shoots in Asia & the Americas — prestigious jobs which established him as a rising talent.
Ron Blunt's award-winning career now spans 35+ years and a dozen countries — with thrilling highlights along the way: A National Geographic book, retrospective exhibits at Mandarin Oriental, and shooting Laurie Anderson’s portrait (and her ambitious exhibition “The Weather”) for Smithsonian.
He’s incredibly versatile, creating extraordinary images for a diverse clientele of leading architects and designers, international artists, luxury brands, hotel groups, publishers, creative agencies, and cultural institutions.
Ron & his team shoot globally from Washington, DC and Miami.
